Used as fetched from the dolph/dictionary repository on GitHub, commit c65f04b0b5b27a981f437b940cf62fe71320d5ec, file enable1.txt, version ENABLE (enable1.txt), 172,823 words before this site's edits. This site removed 34 entries whose primary sense is a slur. The count is a build output and is updated whenever the list changes.

Definitions: Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913), C. and G. Merriam Co., public domain, in the Project Gutenberg transcription prepared by MICRA, Inc., which makes no proprietary claims on its electronic version.

Commonness ranking: SCOWL (Spell Checker Oriented Word Lists), version 2020.12.07, is used to rank results and to choose which words get pages first. It is never the playable list.
